About Huarochiri

The province of Huarochiri has 32 districts: Matucana, Antioquia, Callahuanca, Carampoma, Chicla, Cuenca, Huachupampa, Huanza, Huarochiri, Lahuaytambo, Langa, Laraos, Mariatana, Ricardo Palma, S. Andres de Tupicocha, San Antonio, San Bartolomé, San Damián, San Juan de Iris, San Juan de Tantaranche, San Lorenzo de Quinti, San Mateo de Otao, San Pedro de Casta, San Pedro de Huancayre, Sangallaya, Santa Cruz de Cocachacra, San Mateo, Santa Eulalia, Santiago de Anchucaya, Santiago de Tuna, Santo Domingo de los Olleros and Surco.

All of these districts have lots of beautiful touristic attractives and the best part of it: It's very near from Lima. The only way to get there is by the "Carretera central", which is the only paved road available, however between December and March there are frequent landslides due to heavy rains.
